To encourage and promote the quality breeding of purebred retrievers to bring their natural qualities to perfection. Urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the A.K.C. as a standard of excellence.
To do all in our powers to protect and advance the interests of retriever hunting tests, and encourage sportsmanlike participation at retriever hunting tests.
To conduct sanctioned and licensed retriever hunting tests under the rules of the A.K.C., and foremost to enjoy the companionship of working with a highly trained retriever.
