North Idaho Retriever Club

is proud to present:

Evan Graham’s  Smartwork Seminar

“Full-System Seminar”

July 25 -26, 2008

Location: Burlington Ranch, Chewelah, WA

Evan with FC-AFC Trumarc's Too Hot to Handle ("Lucy")

Evan Graham is a retired professional dog trainer, ex-paramedic, and professional nurse. He is married, has four children, and nine grandchildren. Evan has been running field and HT dogs for thirty years. He has a talent for teaching and has developed books and DVD’s that clearly explain the step-by-step progression from Basics to Reliably Trained Retriever. Evan is also a columnist for The Retriever Journal, and has trained and handled many dogs that earned positions on the National Derby List, including five in a single year; one of them being number three with seven wins. At least three of the dogs he trained as a professional became Field Champions. The driving force for his development of the Smartwork method was the belief that one can never know how good any dog is whose Basics were not thorough.

He uses a balanced training approach built on recognized behavioral principals.  Evan excels at teaching reliable responses to commands, while motivating dogs to understand and enjoy the training process. He enjoys working with field enthusiasts at all levels.  No matter what your experience, breed, or goals, he will work with you to improve your training and results.
